Registered Massage Therapy
At The Rehab Centre Of Maple, we have 6 experienced and qualified RMTs for your convenience. The massage therapists each have their own specialization within their field, from pregnancy massage to cranio-sacral to eastern influences. They are all registered with the Registered Massage Therapist Of Ontario, and they are all in good standing with College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
Massage is the manipulation of superficial and deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue using various techniques to enhance function, aid in the healing process, decrease muscle reflex activity, promotes relaxation and well-being.
Osteopathy
Osteopathy is the belief that the body has a natural or innate ability to heal itself. The key factor for this process to occur is the ability of the body to circulate all the important fluids and liquids throughout.

Osteopathic treatment is directed towards the elimination of obstructions which impedes this normal circulation of bodily fluids and liquids and hinders regeneration. The practitioner palpates the body gently and senses the tissues or systems which require restoration.

Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine
Acupuncture is a collection of procedures involving penetration of the skin with needles to stimulate certain points on the body. In its classical form it is a characteristic component of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Stimulating specific acupuncture points corrects imbalances in the flow of qi through channels known as meridians.
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a broad range of medicine practices sharing common concepts which have been developed in China. They are based on a tradition of more than 5,000 years, including various forms of herbal medicine, acupuncture, massage (Tui na), exercise (qigong), and dietary therapy.
